Daoyin Tao™ Training
Terms & Conditions
Booking & Payment
A place on the course is secured upon receipt of the required deposit or full payment.
Any outstanding balance must be paid before attending the practical training module.
Access to the online learning materials will be provided once the course officially opens.
Refund Policy
Deposits are non-refundable, as they secure your place on the course and allow training resources and administration to be prepared in advance.
Should you choose to cancel your place after making full payment, the following refund policy applies:
- More than 30 days before the practical training date: refund less deposit.
- 14–30 days before the practical training date: 50% refund less deposit.
- Less than 14 days before the practical training date: no refund.
Requests for cancellation must be made in writing.
Transfers, Illness & Non-Attendance
If you are unable to attend your chosen practical training date, please notify the trainer as soon as possible.
Where reasonable notice is given and an alternative date is available, a transfer may be offered at the discretion of the trainer.
Students who are unable to attend due to illness should notify the trainer as soon as possible. Where appropriate, a transfer to a future training date may be offered.
Failure to attend a practical training day without prior notice will be treated as a non-attendance and no refund will be given.
Additional fees may apply where a student requests a separate practical training session or assessment outside scheduled course dates.
Online Learning Access
The online learning materials are provided for the sole use of the registered student and must not be shared, copied, distributed or reproduced without written permission. As a registered student or graduate, you have unlimited access to the online materials. Withdrawing from the course results in loss of access to the online materials.
Assessment & Certification
Students must successfully complete all required elements of the programme, including practical assessment and case study requirements, before certification can be issued.
Certificates will only be awarded where competency and course requirements have been met.
Professional Practice & Insurance
It is the responsibility of each student to ensure they hold any prerequisite qualifications required for attendance and to confirm insurance requirements with their chosen insurer before offering treatments professionally.
Successful completion of the course does not guarantee acceptance by any individual insurer.
Course Changes & Exceptional Circumstances
In the unlikely event that a practical training date, venue or course delivery arrangement needs to be changed due to circumstances beyond the trainer’s reasonable control, every effort will be made to provide a suitable alternative.
This may include, but is not limited to, venue cancellations, venue access issues, severe weather, illness, government restrictions, public health measures, travel disruption, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Where a practical training date cannot proceed as planned, students will be offered an alternative date. If no suitable alternative can be provided, a refund of fees relating to the affected training element will be offered.
The trainer cannot accept responsibility for any travel, accommodation or other costs incurred by students in connection with course attendance.
Complaints & Concerns
Complaints and Concerns
We are committed to providing a high-quality learning experience and welcome constructive feedback, concerns or complaints raised in good faith.
If a student has a concern or complaint relating to the course, training delivery, assessment or certification process, they are expected to raise this directly through the formal Complaints Procedure so that the matter can be reviewed fairly and appropriately.
Where a student remains dissatisfied following the outcome of a formal complaint, they may submit an appeal in accordance with the Appeals procedure.
To support a fair and respectful resolution process, students are expected to refrain from publicly sharing, broadcasting or discussing complaints in a way that may compromise confidentiality or prejudice a fair review. This includes, but is not limited to, social media platforms, public forums or review sites.
Where a complaint is publicly disclosed before the internal complaints or appeals process has been reasonably completed, and such disclosure is deemed to compromise the fairness or integrity of the review process, we reserve the right to pause, discontinue or decline further internal resolution.
